Tornado Pursuit is operated by BIGLY SKIES LLC, an active Nebraska Domestic Limited Liability Company (Nebraska Secretary of State Account #2610216356), based in Omaha, Nebraska. If you have any privacy questions or data requests, email us at chase@tornadopursuit.com.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information needed to answer your questions, process your booking, coordinate hotels and airport transfers, and keep you safe on the road:
- Inquiry & Booking Contact Details: Your name, email address, mobile phone number, WhatsApp preference, city/country of origin, and room/tour preferences when you submit an inquiry or reserve a seat on /book.
- Onboarding & Field Safety Information (Guest Portal): Emergency contact name, relationship, and phone number; arrival/departure flight numbers and times; hoodie size (on 10-day tours); roommate preferences; and any voluntary dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical notes you share for field safety.
- Required Travel Insurance & Waiver Records: Your travel insurance provider, policy number, and uploaded proof of coverage, along with your digitally signed Release, Waiver & Assumption of Risk.
- Payment Information: All credit/debit card and US bank transfer (ACH) payments are processed directly by Stripe. Tornado Pursuit never sees or stores your full card number or bank account credentials; we store only the payment status, amount paid, and Stripe transaction reference IDs in your booking ledger.
- Partner Referral & Promo Attribution (Browser Storage): If you arrive on our site through a partner, affiliate, or QR referral link (such as a link containing
?ref=,utm_source, or?promo=), we store that referral identifier in your browser's local storage for 30 days so the referring partner receives credit if you submit an inquiry or book a seat. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How We Use & Protect Your Information
- We never sell or rent your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade guest contact lists to third parties or advertisers.
- Who sees your onboarding data: Your emergency contact details, medical/dietary disclosures, and travel insurance proof are restricted strictly to Tornado Pursuit's co-founders and your tour's lead chase guides for operational and emergency use.
- Hotels & Service Providers: We share only your name (and roommate pairing, if applicable) with tour hotels to check in rooms, and use Google Cloud / Firebase (encrypted in transit and at rest) and Stripe to host your Guest Portal and payment ledger.
- Tour Communications: We use your email and phone number (including SMS or WhatsApp if opted in) to send booking confirmations, 90-day and 30-day payment milestone reminders, and staging-hotel / airport pickup updates.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data & Your Rights
- Medical disclosures & insurance documents: Any medical/allergy notes and uploaded travel insurance policy documents are deleted within 30 days after your tour concludes.
- Waivers & accounting records: Signed liability waivers and payment/invoice records are retained for legal and tax compliance under Nebraska and federal law.
- Access, correction, or deletion: You can update your profile and media-release preferences anytime in your Guest Portal (/portal), or email chase@tornadopursuit.com to request a copy or deletion of your personal data.
